FORGIVENESS: STARTING WITH CONFESSION
Going through the motions doesn’t please you, a flawless performance is nothing to you.
I learned God-worship when my pride was shattered.
Heart-shattered lives ready for love don’t for a moment escape God’s notice."

Yes - we all know how hard it can be to admit that we are wrong. But isn't it reassuring to know that the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit and contrite heart?
According to God’s great compassion and unfailing love he can blot out
