We play games (not board, not video, but social) all the time. Every time we greet someone, buy a gift, or do almost anything at all we're playing a game. Call it what you want if you dislike the word 'game', but the point remains; we follow cultural patterns for various reasons.

Should we? Should we always play games? Or should we avoid them? Is there a clear answer?
