How is this possible? You must just have a good metabolism. You must just have good genes. You must just not have the issues I have...
Trust me, I've heard it all and the answer is....False, to every single one.
I may not know the struggles you've had physically, but I can tell you I've also had my fair share. I can also say that my metabolism and genes have nothing to do with my relationship with food, and how fixing my relationship with food was the thing that healed literally everything in my life.
I have my cake and eat it too - happily, and proudly - and I don't gain weight from it because I am constantly checking in with my body and giving it what it needs, and yes! Sometimes that's having a piece of that darn cake!
