Stephen is the co-founder of Heartstyles and the co-creator of the Heartstyles Indicator, a tool that measures effective and ineffective thinking and behaviour, with his wife Dr. Mara Klemich. Stephen founded his first people development consultancy in 1987 and has over 30 years’ experience transforming people and culture in organisations through character development. He believes that people are capable of radical transformation and development when change comes from the heart.
Consulting Psychologist Mara Klemich is the co-founder of Heartstyles and co-creator of the Heartstyles Indicator, a tool that measures effective and ineffective thinking and behaviour, with her husband Stephen Klemich. Mara’s work in the corporate world focuses on personal, leadership and culture development bringing neuroscience into the areas of leadership and management development, change management and staff development.
Through her work, Mara has facilitated thousands of people in leadership and character development programs across the globe and has concluded that “the quality of one's life, character and leadership comes from the attitude of the heart”. The heart attitude is at the core of the person and our behaviour is a manifestation of that attitude. As we gain insight into it and learn how to master it, the happier and more effective we become.
