In this episode, I had a conversation with JULIE, a jack of all trades in the creative field. She is an artist, painter, and photographer living in America. In our conversation, she shared her stories and experiences being a daughter of a Cambodian mother who went through the Khmer Rouge. We talked about her childhood, her shaky relationship with her mother, her feelings and mental health thoughts, and how she cut off her mother from her life. We also got into whether or not she will reach out to her mother or not and the thought process of regret and feelings of guilt in terms of not deciding to reach out to her mother again before it's too late.
