Moon Wives

11. Life is the Space Between Now and Next.

Listen Later

Join Amanda and Sierra as they discuss energetic upgrades and the appropriateness of this time of year, ie. spring-cleaning, de-cluttering, releasing, and mobilizing daydreams into actionable steps.

We are moving quickly through Pisces season, a time of dreaming and nurturing our creativity, into Aries season (the beginning of the astrological year) which means GO GO GO. Celebrating the Spring Equinox and accepting bleary-eyed the antiquated notion of Daylight Savings Time, these ladies share their hardships and tools for dealing with the changes.

Amanda and Sierra illuminate how children can act as mirrors to ourselves. We are constantly under development and some things really don't change. We can learn from children by staying in the present, realizing that time is only an illusion, and that communication is everything.

Thrive Responsibly hosts delve into their procrastination cycles and how fear can show itself in this addictive behavior. Recommendations for creating boundaries in work and life and how this can create more freedom and joy.

Sierra talks about fasting and how people have been practicing different types of "going without", think Lent, for quite some time. Fasting is simply abstaining from something for a specified amount of time. Dopamine fasts can be as life-improving as abstaining from sugar or alcohol.

"Hustle mentality" is old paradigm thinking that Sierra and Amanda hope to help reframe in the next generation. It is important to value times of rest as much as times of productivity. You are enough. Stop before you reach burnout.
