A year of weddings and living in denial about our own wedding.
He just wanted to get married and she just wanted to AVOID the whole topic together! It's heartbreaking when the whole world can see your love but your partner doesn't want to get married. But both of us had our reasons, plus his controlling parents and her "good-girl" conditioning didn't help the situation at all. Boomer Parents never realize how much they try to control their children, they conveniently treat them as adults and choose to tell them what to do in life at the same time. Never thinking how much that controlling behavior can affect their adult life and love relationships.
Did the couple manage to end the denial and finally confront each other with the conversation? Will they agree on getting married? Or there are more natural calamities waiting to happen in their relationship!
