In this sermon, Pastor Clint looks at Luke 3:15–22. As people wonder if John the Baptist might be the Messiah, he clarifies that one greater than him is coming—so great that John is unworthy to untie His sandals. John baptizes with water, but this greater one—Jesus—will baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire, bringing both salvation and judgment. When Jesus is baptized, the heavens open, the Holy Spirit descends on Him like a dove, and a voice from heaven affirms His divine Sonship, marking Him as the promised greater one.
