This week on the podcast is Andrew Yu, RN, BSN, MPH. Andrew started his nursing career Washington, DC. He then moved back to New York to work in an HIV/AIDS outpatient clinic. After working there for 8 years he took a position as the National Clinical Coordinator for the HIV, Hep C, and STI program serving the American Indian position through Indian Health Services (IHS).
Andrew takes us through his nursing journey and really highlights his passion for the HIV patient community. He shares with us what his current job entails and how you can get involved with this patient population if that is your passion as well.
