11. Pricing your worth

Today I talk about how to price your services. When we start our business that is one of the biggest questions of “how much do I charge?”, and as a non-business owner when you go somewhere to pay for something you may find yourself questioning “why do they charge so much?”.

In the first few months, I certainly fell into the cycle of undercharging myself which resulted in undervaluing myself.

Some thought traps I found myself in “I am new”, “I don’t want to lose potential clients”, “I wouldn’t be able to afford a higher cost”.

These thoughts come from comparing myself to others but ignoring my own strengths and uniqueness.

So in this episode, I share WHY I increased my rates and how I realized I needed to separate my experience/skills from years of owning a business.
