It's the start of our Resident Evil Series with, unsurprisingly, the first Resident Evil Movie staring Mila Jovovich and Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. Anderson is an interesting case as he appears to one of the few directors to thrive making video game adaptations, unlike other directors who seem to have been crushed by the experience. Paul W.S. Anderson is the first director to make a repeat appearance, as he previously directed Moral Kombat.
