Now more than ever you need to take everything you hear with several grains of salt.

This has happened before and it will happen again but don't let them pull the wool over your eyes. Read a dusty book. Watch "Wag The Dog" "The Candidate" "Dave" "The Manchurian Candidate" "Network" and some other great political satire that isn't nearly as much a fantasy as the filmmakers may have thought.

In short: Now is the time to stop mearly listening. It's time to take part in the conversation. The fate of your country (and many countries of the world) depends on it.
