On The Ball with Eniko Toth

11. Tackle Your Impossible Challenges w/Chale Guadamuz (part 2)

Listen Later

"The first step to take when facing impossible challenges is to do something that we are naturally good at... We need to lie to ourselves! We need to start at a place where we believe it is possible!” Chale Guadamuz, a Nicaraguan human rights defender and the current director of the Hague Peace Projects joins Eniko Toth on the podcast for the second time.

In his past, Chale did over a decade of work in the corporate world, mostly in world-class companies in Latin America, the USA and Europe, but after taking part in the uprise of 2018 in Nicaragua, he was imprisoned, then forced into exile. Now he is the leader of a team of people that are committed to having a positive impact in the world. His work focuses on strengthening the capacities of peace-builders and changemakers.

Chale Guadamuz is the executive director of The Hague Peace Projects: a peace organization that supports human rights across the globe. Their latest project is The Hague X Beirut: an art fundraiser to support human rights activists and artists in Beirut, Lebanon. You can find out more on their social media at @TheHaguePeaceProjects and on their website https://thehaguepeace.org

Last week, Chale and I talked about our connection with nature. Chale shared his passion with us on environmental protection and a lot more. If you have not had a chance to listen to it yet, make sure you do so after this episode! The topic of the day is Overcoming Impossible Challenges While Building Human Potential!
