Derek Cross sits down and speaks with, Corey Mendes an experienced cannabis advisor, patient and patient advocate. Founder of Southeast Texas NORML in 2013 and creator of the educational character Hempy Sweetleaf, Corey has advocated for cannabis reform for over 20 years. Recognized as High Times "Freedom Fighter of the Month" in May of 2016, he has worked locally and at state level to educate our leaders and our youth. In 2017 he was the first pro cannabis advocate in the nation to be invited by a public high school to teach a two course class on Cannabis Education.
