For centuries, Black voices have been treated like a whisper even though they have been using their voices loudly to enact change. We posed the question “What do we need to understand?” to our friends in the Black community. Let’s take a time out to listen to a few Black youth, and a mom, as they tell us in their own powerful words what we need to understand in order to truly enact change.
