When the TARDIS doors come open mid-flight, Barbara, Ian, Susan, and The Doctor discover that they have been shrunk to an inch in size and landed in a garden in ’60s England. While trying to come to terms with their miniature predicament, the travelers narrowly escape a giant cat, enter a house through a drain pipe, and stumble upon a conspiratorial murder plot to cover up the deadly effects of an experimental pesticide that kills anything it touches.
