- The root cause of our world’s trouble is sin. One solution: Jesus- How we should view unsaved: under domination of Satan, sick, crippled, blind, dead, wicked, angry... they can only act out their condition- For the church to hate sinners is to miss the heart of Jesus- We know we are the body of Christ when we cry about the condition of sinners and long to help them come to the saving knowledge of Jesus- When saved you have been drawn by the spirit and a process begins- Now you have another enemy who is focused on your demise- None have sought after God... He chose you... “follow me”- We’re trying to get people to follow the church... instead we must create an interest in Jesus by the way we live- Go where they are... they aren’t coming where you are- Know what you believe of Him, not what someone else says they believe- We’re trying to get people to come to Jesus, not straighten them out- We’re trying to figure who is in and who is out... it’s not our business- People don’t get fixed perfectly right away- He has not dealt with us according to our sins
