On December 6th, BC Royal Canadian Mounted Police apprehended nearly 200 impaired drivers across the province, with the highest concentration in Greater Vancouver. Despite an increase in check stops, the rate of impairment appears to be decreasing, thanks to mandatory alcohol screening. This ongoing enforcement is vital for road safety as we enter the new year.
