111 One way I stop the racing thoughts in my head, using the"butt in seat" method

Welcome to your daily dose of the “butt in seat” method, or what I call mindfulness! Really, it’s about not thinking about what already happened or what might happen, but about what is actually happening right now. But that is a hard place to reach without some guidance.

My mind used to be like a racing car, accelerating always, and rarely braking. So much so that I told Dave, I couldn’t have this small household appliance in our room anymore. Any guesses?

This episode was thrown together at the last moment due to FOUR of my episodes being cancelled since my guests were sick (yes, even with COVID!). So, I recorded on the fly and you can tell. Like hearing the English Mastiffs chewing on toys or themselves, in the background… Anyway, you will learn the steps to take to lose the crazy and calm yourself down.
