In this week’s episode we welcome back the brilliant Rachael Lander to chat about her recent ADHD diagnosis.
Rachael is cellist on the West End production of Frozen and is a busy freelancer & session player as well as being a mother of two…..Chuck ADHD into the mix and her journey as a recovering alcoholic and life isn’t always straightforward.
Rachael speaks about getting her diagnosis and how this has enabled her to make sense of elements in her life that have previously caused difficulty and anxiety. She talks about how being armed with knowledge and connected to other people with ADHD has helped her understand herself better and approach life differently.
This conversation is set to a backdrop of the imminent arrival of Seb’s new baby, adding another layer of jeopardy to proceedings!
If you haven’t heard Rachael’s previous episode (no.15) it’s well worth a listen as she discusses alcoholism and how it’s affected her life as well as the wider impact on the music industry.
