Samantha Nolan-Smith is the founder of The School Of Visibility, an online education platform that has supported students across the globe to find their voice and be seen for the change they’re creating in the world.
With a background in law, social justice, and Indigenous policy in Australia, Samantha brings over 20 years of experience supporting leaders and changemakers to show up with confidence and clarity. She also draws on two decades of expertise in personal development — combining mindset work, somatic practices, and leadership coaching — to help people step into their full presence.
Samantha is passionate about amplifying diverse voices and believes that when people find the courage to share their stories, they create ripples of change that can transform communities and industries worldwide.
Samantha is also a Mother to two children, a wife and she is based in Canberra, Australia. I adore the work Samantha does and this conversation was so delightful and filled with so much passion, from each of us.
TRIGGER WARNING: At 43 minutes 30 seconds to 44 minutes Samantha mentions someone talking of suicidal ideation.
In this episode we speak about:
Themes: motherhood, chronic illness, domestic abuse recovery, burlesque
We mention Amy Taylor-Kabbaz, Cath Counihan and Sophie Brock.
To learn more about Samantha see here on Instagram. And to learn more about her and her work on her website, click here: theschoolofvisibility.com
At the end, I read a quote by Margaret Cho.
