This week will be a turning point in your communication. Do you speak to a child and an adult the same? Each person is different, when you speak into what they can handle it lifts you both up and thwarts miscommunications and judgments. Have you ever asked someone to do something and they didn't complete it? That just means you gave them more than they could handle. Reduce your request so they can succeed and you both win. Then build up over time on successes. Are they willing? Are they capable? If so, then make a request. The same goes for you... do you give yourself more than you could handle? Lofty goals?
