The KBC Consumer Sentiment Survey is a monthly survey of a nationally representative sample of 1,000 adults. It’s been a long running piece of research providing a valuable insight into what Irish consumers are thinking and its tracked sentiment over many years including during the financial crisis, up to and throughout Covid. Austin Hughes Chief Economist at KBC Bank Ireland, joined John to discuss the latest results from the survey.

Michael Moriarty, Author, and former president of County Carlow Chamber spoke with John about his latest book “How to Bring Your Best Self to Work – strategies for career success.” 

Form Carlow is a group of designers, makers and craftspeople based in Carlow with the aim of raising the profile of their work and promoting Carlow as a destination for high quality design and craft. Mary Bourke of DeBurca Design and Nicola Brown of Nicola Brown Fine Art Textiles joined John to chat about Form Carlow and their pop-up shop which is opening on 2nd December 2021 in The Fairgreen Shopping Centre, Carlow.

Martin Donnelly, Product Sales and Distribution Manager at Fáilte Ireland chatted to John about the Leisure and UltraLuxe Tourism Market in Ireland, it’s value to the economy and what a guest in this market would tend to spend during their stay.
