At twenty-one years old, Hope O Baker made one of the hardest decisions a person can make: she placed her son for adoption. Afterwards, she struggled with depression, addiction, and overcoming the stigma that surrounds birth mothers. This week, Melissa talks to Hope about some of the unusual parts of her story and about Hope's memoir, Finding Hope: A birthmother's journey into the light.
