For the penultimate episode of Projoctober, we've connected our brains to a haunted old doll to dive into the twisted world of Project Nightmares. In this indie horror video game, you delve into the mind of a witchy old woman, collecting items, solving puzzles, and throwing salt, all in an attempt to find out what her deal is.

We also discuss our personal video game and horror backgrounds, including the games we played growing up and some of our most memorable horror movie experiences.

Sam has also been watching the technical benchmark and criminally-forgotten movie Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, starring Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Angelina Jolie. He's also been playing the D&D video game Baldur's Gate 3, finishing off Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and getting started on Sony and Insomniac's new Marvel hit, Spider-Man 2.

Meanwhile, Lewis has finished a rewatch of Bojack Horseman, played a surprisingly engaging Pride & Prejudice board game, and checked out Disney Pixar's latest entry, Elemental, on Disney+.
