He outlines his current projects with Amber McCain and the cover band Spectrum, as well as past work with Jared Price’s “Almost Elton.” He describes the challenges of faithfully performing pop and Elton John material live. He also recounts years in the instrumental jazz group Pacific Flight, odd gigs, and transcription work for Willie Mitchell’s catalog, and highlights common Memphis venues and scheduling challenges.
