Antiochus Epiphanies was a cruel ruler whose rise to power was prophesied in today’s passage, in Daniel chapter 11. Pastor Jeff uses the example of this prophecy coming true to show that even though Biblical prophecy may tell of difficult times ahead for humanity, such as the rise of the Antichrist, God is always in control. He sees the end and the beginning all at the same time, and He will not let evil reign unchallenged for long. The time is coming that Jesus will return and put all evil rulers in their place.
