The title Mother of God reveals the astonishing truth that God truly became human in Jesus Christ. Mary teaches us how to begin the year rightly: by listening, pondering, and entrusting everything to God. If we hear God’s word and do whatever He asks, this new year can become a year of renewal and hope.
