Presented by Rev. Carolyn Swift Jones
When we were little, many of us enjoyed opening the little windows on the advent calendar on the days leading up to Christmas. Each window often had a fun, sparkling image intended to raise one’s hopes and expectations for a magnificent Holiday season. But not everybody is filled with hope during the Holidays. What if there was a different kind of advent calendar, made from the windows of our consciousness? And what if these windows opened to the possibility that even in the depths of sadness, there is always reason for hope? Enjoy this, the first message of the Advent Season, in which we light the candle of Hope for one and all.
