Chancellor K Jackson was born and raised in Georgia. He attended Stetson University where he played football and studied Communication and Media Studies. After graduating, he lived abroad in China from 2018-2019 where he fell into writing after his traumatic experience of being arrested, and detained in Beijing for 14 days.
