113: i've let my dreams die and i'm accepting the transition.
When we say yes to God I am not sure we take inventory of what that truly means. In the moment, sometimes it’s a heavily emotional decision, and other times it’s because we desperately need God to make a change in our lives. Thank God for his goodness, because he shows up as exactly what we need. However, what about the after-effect of saying “Yes” to God? What about the transition between the old life you had and the new one you seek to acquire when you follow Christ? How seamless is your transition? How willing are you in following Christ for real? In this episode, Thamicha is talking about how she has thrown in the towel. She is standing on the “yes” she gave God and she is accepting the transition between the life she so desperately wanted and the new life Christ has for her.
