This week's guest is the legendary vocalist Mike "IX" Williams of Eyehategod. Formed in 1988, Eyehategod personified nihilism and destruction by subverting traditional doom with hardcore punk attitude. A true original on the scene, albums like Dopesick set the standard for brutal, nihilistic metal in the 90s, creating an endless number of copycats in the process. 2021 marks their 33rd year as a band and will see the release of their sixth album A History of Nomadic Behavior.
