Jesus Christ took on himself the sins of the world.  Have you ever wondered why this was necessary.  Too often it seems like we account for it with a caricature of God who says, "somebody's gotta suffer and I don't really care who."  Maybe you feel like it is hard to love a God like that.  So do I.  But maybe there is something more to the story.
