113: What's Life Like When Your Kids Are in Foster Care?

Listen Later

Brenna Hunter's addiction to Methamphetamine (aka: Meth) cost her custody of her children and left her living on the streets in Los Angeles. She openly shares all that led to her drug use and what it was like when the Department of Children & Family Services took her kids and placed them into foster care. But that's not where her story ends! She worked hard to get clean, stay clean, and regain custody of her three children. She is an addict turned social worker who provides a much needed perspective on foster care. Our hope is that hearing Brenna reminds you once again: There Isn't a Single Person You Wouldn't Love If You Knew Their Story.
