Star DeAzlan was just thirteen years old when she started singing at open mic nights in San Marcos, Texas.  The Cheatham Street Warehouse was her venue of choice, where George Strait and his band got started in the mid 70’s.  Little did she know that members of George’s Ace In The Hole band still went back there to play, and oftentimes performed with her on stage.  After turning heads in Texas, she set her sights on Nashville, where we had a chance to check in on her progress as a recording artist on Curb Records.
