TBH, the fear of public speaking is rooted in feeling "safe". Humans don't like feeling uncomfortable, whether it's communication-specific, or just related to life in general. But just feeling safe, secure, and certain keeps us in a stagnant state of mediocrity. And you're not a mediocre person right? (Besides, life is never just secure or certain.)
So ask yourself... Am I comfortable or nah?
