Why is it important that I discover my specific calling?
But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God. ACTS 20:24
How do I discover my specific calling?
Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path. PSALM 119:105
Steps to Discovery:
- Get into God's Word and try a new translation like the ESV, NIV, The Message, or the NLT.
- Pray and listen
- Take inventory of your gifts. What do you do well? What brings you joy? What are you passionate about? Pray, look and take opportunities to develop those gifts and put them into practice.
