Many of us who come from Christian world became side B / celibate queer Christians before we were able to fully affirm me. Joe Miner began his journey of understanding sexuality the way I did, to understand that sex and marriage was still MAN + WOMAN, that I could feel all my feelings but I couldn't act on it. 

In this conversation, we talk about what changed his mind, what we both learned from Side B theologies and ideals, and what it's like being a queer and black in the world.
