Aya Kakeda is a fine artist who's style and projects have inspired and influenced creators around the world. She is a teacher at the School of Visual Arts in New York and has created comics, books, prints, apparel, ceramic figurines, and the list goes on. In this interview we talk about the stories Aya tells with each project, the universal language of art, and how getting bored easily became one of her greatest assets.
