In his book Ready, Fire, Aim, Michael Masterson discusses the principle of accelerated failure, which is the idea to become more efficient overtime by learning from mistakes and thus gradually increasing your ratio of success over failures. He offers a great example in his book, but to make it more personal, I want to share my own example of a failure from my professional past and how it applies to this principle.
