When Jesus asked, “Who do you say I am?” (Matthew 16:15), He proposed a question of such epic proportion that humankind can barely comprehend or understand it. More to the point is that Jesus seems to suggest that the Gospel is not first and foremost concerned with His ethics or moral teaching. Rather, the Gospel is supremely interested in who Jesus is.
