Care warning: Physical and mental trauma are discussed in this episode.
Gabe Lieschke fell victim to necrotizing fasciitis (flesh-eating bacteria) at the age of 27, resulting in the loss of his dominant arm above the elbow. He put all of his effort into recovery and finding his way back to fitness and health to make himself the furthest from disabled as possible. Now fitter than he's ever been, he's training hard and on track to represent Australia in the 2024 Paralympics.
