Loosely based on Liverpudlian comedian, John Bishop, Is This Thing On? is a comedy-drama directed by Bradley Cooper about a middle-aged man who, after separating from his wife, unexpectedly starts doing stand-up comedy and uses it to process the divorce and rediscover himself through wit and self deprecation.
