This episode features a conversation with a special friend and sorority sister, Barbara Byrne Allen, also known as "Bob". We met in college at Oklahoma State University at the beginning of her freshman year and my senior year. Her witty personality and contagious smile are only two of the many reasons I adore her. She is bright, beautiful, talented and an award-winning writer. She holds a spot in the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame.

During our conversation, she shares more about how she got into writing, her career trajectory, and the importance of mentorship. She also shares about being diagnosed as hard of hearing as an adult.
