The first film screening was held on December 28, 1895 in Paris, France. It was a momentous event in the history of film, marking the beginning of an entirely new form of entertainment and communication. The event was organized by the Lumière brothers, Auguste and Louis, who had just invented a device called the Cinématographe. This machine was capable of both recording and projecting moving images, and it was the first of its kind.
