Welcome back to the DO BIG THINGS podcast! I am here to inspire you, week after week with heroic tails from the trails. I’ve got a banger here for you this week, this one got me right in the feels. Larry DeWitt has too many races and accomplishments to list here but a couple of them include Tour Divide finisher in 2018 as well as the Leadman champion in 2006 and 2009. If you know anything about the endurance world, that says a lot right there. However, Larry grew up in a dysfunctional family where he was a juvenile delinquent, a high school dropout and periodically homeless. Sounds like two different people, right? Luckily, Larry was able to flip the script at an early age and went back to high school, ran cross country, graduated honor roll, enlisted into the army and eventually earned himself three different degrees. This is another incredible story you won’t want to miss.
