🔥[12-04] Got crickets from your outreach? Here's how to elicit a quick response

Listen Later

David McErlain: I have not heard back on my first outreach email so I want to discuss how to follow up in that case.

  • Using the revised Andy Dufresne technique, send a friendly nudge at the two-week mark that acknowledges timing, adds a tiny bit of value, and feels personal enough to spark a fast response.
  • You don't add more story, you don't add another question, you just leave the value, you drop the mic, and you walk away.
  • Research something human or relatable they care about so your nudge demonstrates awareness beyond your ask.
  • Track whether emails are opened to guide smarter channels and timing rather than spiraling into doubt or guessing.
  • Be ready with your follow up email because friendly nudge elicits a very quick response.
