🔥[12-16] Using the exploratory mindset to learn the problems that your potential customer needs

Listen Later

Felix Markman: I'm designing and undergoing a career transition. I've been a Salesforce Developer for 11 years, and I'm strategizing how to transition into AI Automation. I seek to do consulting and or create my own SaaS product(s), but I'm stuck in analysis paralysis. My main challenge is defining precisely what niche I want to target for consulting, and whether or not, and how to pursue building my SaaS product ideas. How do I find my niche? How can I tap into my inner wisdom and use my intuition to outline next steps?

  • Be clear on who your audience is and the problems that they are willing to pay for you to help them solve.
  • Reach out to peers who are on a similar path as yours.
  • Walk through the Build Your Dream Network to help you become much clearer on who is the person that you want to connect with using the expert approach.
  • Go through The Way of the Networking Ninja workshop to help you better understand the formula to reach out and build relationships with your experts.
  • When reaching out to an expert or mentor, you are the hero, they are the guide. You're seeking guidance and expertise so you can achieve your goals, and you can overcome your obstacles along the way.
  • Use the gatekeeper approach only when you're confident that you know their problems and you're confident that you are the solution to them.
  • Define your one customer that struggles in AI automation who you can have a conversation with, and have an exploratory mindset to better understand what they really need and avoid creating solutions where they don't have problems.
