12-22-22 -- The Friday FARcast -- The Babylonian Roots Of Christmas
On this version of FAR, I'm flying solo and get into the Babylonian roots of Christmas where we dive into Nimrod, Semirammis and Jammuz and how their story and mythology has been transplanted onto the Winter solstice, and Saturnalia and Sol Invictus have also piggy backed on this alternate version of the birth of Jesus (which I believe to be 9/11).
Even though I discuss this, "heresy" I don't believe it denigrates the time of year and what we share. Not only that, but I also question the common narrative of Nimrod and the Tower of Babel in Nineveh and that he was a tyrant that wanted to supplant God.
