At 24 years old, Jeffery led five 18-year-old boys on a 40-day canoe trip in rural Canada and learned lessons of responding to unexpected situations. This concept now applies to his role as owner and administrator of a memory care facility where he had to make decisions to keep his community safe during the unexpected of Covid and wildfires.
